The San Francisco Marathon and Half Marathon
The 31st annual San Francisco Marathon and Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, August 3, 2008. This exciting event will bring together more than 15,000 people from all over the world. They’ll run over the Golden Gate Bridge, and explore this magnificent City by the Bay, while thousands of spectators cheer them on. Whether you are new to the Bay Area or have lived here all your life, we know you will be in awe of the beauty that San Francisco has to offer. Please join us in this tremendous endeavor. It may be the best thing you do for yourself (and others) this year, and your life will never be
the same.

Fundraising Requirement
Our goal is to raise $1 million for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. Each participant
is asked to raise $1,800 or more by May 2, 2008. We know that sounds like a lot of
money, but we’ll show you how to do it. Our experienced staff has already helped
20,000 people raise $80 million. We’ll be there every step of the way to help you
successfully reach the goal.
