Our Summer/Fall Training Season Begins June 11, 2005.
Hundreds of AIDS Marathon volunteers in the Los Angeles area will be training to complete the Honolulu Marathon on Sunday, December 11, 2005.
Our training programs are geared to both beginners and experienced runners. The full marathon program starts with three miles of running and walking, and gradually increases in distance. Many of our volunteers are first-time marathoners and some have never run a step in their lives.
But 98% of those who complete the training program go on to complete the
The training requires just 30 minutes, twice a week on your own, and a longer group run
each weekend. An experienced Running Coach will be on hand to answer
your questions and give you valuable advice and encouragement.
