Victory in the war against AIDS is not yet at hand. Until it is, heroic individuals - like you - must go farther than you ever thought you could.

 

The Honolulu Marathon

Grass skirts, flower leis, warm ocean breezes.  Where else would you want to be in December?  This year's Honolulu Marathon will be held on Sunday, December 11, 2005, on the beautiful island of Oahu. Thousands of volunteers of the National AIDS Marathon Training Program will participate in this event. Men and women, young and old, gay and straight, people of all colors and backgrounds -- together you will run past tropical landscapes and beautiful beaches while thousands of supporters cheer you on. Your victory will be in meeting the ultimate challenge of strength and endurance -- and in raising millions of dollars to help people living with HIV/AIDS.

Volunteers who meet the fundraising requirement will receive marathon registration, round-trip air travel, and hotel accommodations in Waikiki.  Run your marathon in paradise.  And don't forget your swimsuit.
